VulkanBoost is a client-side Fabric *.21.4 performance companion that detects Vulkan-based renderers without hard-linking to native Vulkan libraries, preventing renderer startup errors on systems with missing or incompatible drivers. It provides safe fallback behavior and adaptive FPS tuning that reduces view and entity distance under load, then restores quality when headroom returns. The mod targets higher and more stable frame rates while preserving compatibility across a wide range of PCs; hardware limits still determine the achievable FPS.
