Dreadening is a Fabric *.21.11 psychological horror mod that gradually distorts a normal Minecraft world as in-game days pass. It begins with unsettling cow faces and distant shadow sightings accompanied by whispers, then spreads smiling block overlays, warning messages, dark flashlight-***** vision, intrusive shutdown notes, and a spawn-point apparition. By the final stage, returning to spawn triggers a fake blue screen with an intense warning and disturbing audio, creating an escalating horror experience without damaging the player's computer.
