If a player goes too long without gaining experience, progressively unsettling and dangerous events begin to occur - from dense fog and reduced visibility, to fake Herobrine appearances with eerie sounds, missing textures, hostile mobs, and ultimately death. All effects can be reversed by gaining ** to reset the curse.
