ChessPieces provides the foundation for a Paper *.21.11 Minecraft chess-piece plugin built with Java 21 and Gradle. It includes structured piece management, configurable custom items, persistent piece identification, recipe registration, command handling, permission support, localized messages, configuration management, and event listeners. The architecture is prepared for future chess-piece abilities without implementing abilities yet.
